"Attitude makes it happen!" is the motto of Scout Troop 380 (age 11-18) and the co-ed Venturing Crew 380 (age 14-21). 380 Trail to First Class and Trail to Eagle Scout program plus Venturing Ranger programs can be challenging and fun. If you want to make it happen, check out 380!

About Troop 380/Crew 380

In the troop's 35 year history 380 has been known for going places, doing things and having fun doing it. Going places also applies to leadership and growth experiences. 380 Eagle Leadership Service Projects have included trips to; Mexico for building a church, another trip to install pews in another church in Mexico, building an entire C.O.P.E. course for a youth camp in western Kansas, a 54' foot-bridge over wetlands in Oklahoma plus service projects in Arkansas, New Mexico and Colorado. Some years Troop/Crew 380 members have traveled 5,000 miles in one year (land-air-sea).

High Adventure: Troop 380 and Crew 380 members have experienced Philmont Scout Ranch backpacking treks in New Mexico mountains for twelve days, trips to the B.S.A. Florida Sea Base-- sailing the Bahamas Islands for a week, Sailing the Florida Keys and the Sea Exploring program sailing to Dry Tortugas National Park.

Troop Adventures: Spring break in Colorado mountains, camping and hiking in the snowy mountains. Or camping on Mustang Island or Galveston Island , the live aboard program on the USS Lexington aircraft carrier or the battleship USS Texas. Visits to state capitols, Texas Alamo, and more. White water rafting in Colorado, Oklahoma and New Mexico. Plus rock climbing; from the Wichita Mountains in Oklahoma, to New Mexico, Colorado, as well as Texas' Mineral Wells Park and Enchanted Rock. Trips to NASA, Houston Space Center and the Challenger Space Center program. Taking water skiing trips in Texas and Oklahoma. Backpacking in many National Parks plus state parks and many hiking trails. From gazing at the planets and stars with telescopes to exploring deep in caves underground, 380 experiences await you. Are you ready?

Advancement: Troop 380's Trail to First Class and Trail to Eagle programs or Venturing's Ranger award, the opportunity to advance is waiting for you.

Summer Camp: Week long Scout summer camp every year! A lot of fun, plus merit badges for advancement. Especially if you like camping, swimming, sailing, water skiing, horseback riding, rifle, archery, climbing and outdoor skills.
